Our Mission - Inspire and empower our students to reach their full potential as lifelong learners and productive members of a global community.

Jennings County School Corporation, located in North Vernon, Indiana, serves over 4300 students enrolled in kindergarten through the twelfth grade. We are a community of educators and learners united in our quest to seek and gain knowledge. We value our people, because we are stronger, together.

A Message from Our Superintendent

I have never seen anything like it. As I have spent time in the Jennings County Schools and in this community, over and over I have been impressed by the people. We have genuinely good people in this county who look out for one another.

Community service is central to our way of life in Jennings County. We care about our kids, our neighbors, and each other.

Recently, when I was talking to our board about the support we receive from our community, one of the members simply stated, “It is our way of life.”

When I am asked what makes our schools special, my answer is always the same: our people are our greatest resource. While others may market a newer facility or a different program, in Jennings County, we have each other. It is a way of life, and it is special. For me and my family, we are all in. I encourage you to reflect on our greatest resource. We are stronger together. I have never seen anything like it.

Warmest Regards,

Teresa Brown
