Our Mission - Inspire and empower our students to reach their full potential as lifelong learners and productive members of a global community.

Jennings County School Corporation, located in North Vernon, Indiana, serves over 4300 students enrolled in kindergarten through the twelfth grade. We are a community of educators and learners united in our quest to seek and gain knowledge. We value our people, because we are stronger, together.

A Message from Our Superintendent

Welcome to the Jennings County School Corporation! We have so many exciting opportunities awaiting your child in our school district. For the 2018-19 school year, we have adopted the following theme: Educating the Whole Child, For the Whole World. This focus on the whole child means we are launching innovative programming and new staff to assist us with addressing the social and mental-health needs of our students. We are searching for ways to remove barriers for our students and families that may interfere with learning. We have also implemented a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) lab in each elementary school, and students will have an opportunity weekly to create and build hands-on projects, explore real world problems, and find solutions.

In Jennings County, we believe we are stronger together. Our staff and community work together to provide our students with a rigorous academic program and extra-curricular activities designed to develop the potential of each individual student. Our JCSC graduates successfully enter colleges, the military, and the world of work, and they are prepared to be productive members of a global community.

Being a Jennings County Panther means you will have a community supporting and encouraging you for a lifetime. It is our way of life. We are JC!

Please let me know how I can serve you,

Teresa Brown
