Jennings County School Corporation rates among the highest in Southern Indiana in multiple areas. As the State of Indiana continues to hold schools to higher levels of accountability, JCSC has shown progressive improvement each year. For the 2013-14 school year, JCSC received a “B” rating as a district with five of our schools receiving an “A” rating. Not only do we continue to outscore the majority of schools surrounding our corporation, JCSC also offers multiple dual credits for our students to assist in continuing their education.

JCHS now list over 30 courses which allows a student to not only earn high school credit, but the rigor of the class has been developed to the level that colleges are allowing the same course to earn college credit. We currently have students able to earn as many as two years of college credit before graduating from Jennings County High School.

JCMS offers opportunities for students who demonstrate mastery of the basic course work to be able to earn high school credits during their 7th and 8th grade years. Each elementary in Jennings County continues to offer a multitude of extra-curricular activities for students to be challenged and to participate in based on individual interest.
