Welcome to Jennings County Schools! PDF Print E-mail

The Jennings County School Corporation ranks among the highest performing school districts in southern Indiana. As the State of Indiana continues to hold public schools to higher levels of accountability, the Jennings County School Corporation has shown continued improvement each year. In 2013-14, JCSC received a "B" ranking as a district with five of our eight schools receiving an "A" from the Indiana Department of Education. Not only do we continue to outscore nearly all school districts in our region, but JCSC excels in providing students the opportunity to better prepare themselves for what they will face after graduation.

Jennings County High School offers over 30 courses which allow a student not only to earn high school credit, but college credit as well. Through our affiliations and partnerships with Indiana University, Vincennes University and the Early College Program at Ivy Tech Community College, our students can earn credits equal to two years of college prior to graduating from high school.

Jennings County Middle School offers students many innovative programs through use of the Ron Clark Academy© approach to learning. In addition, JCMS offers students who demonstrate mastery of basic course work the opportunity to earn high school credit during grades 7 & 8. Each of our six outstanding elementary schools maintain a nurturing family environment, giving each child an enjoyable experience and the opportunity to find success. In addition, our elementary schools offer a broad range of extra-curricular activities.
