ISTEP+

In Indiana, all students in grades 3 through 10 take the Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress-Plus (ISTEP+). Based on Indiana's Academic Standards, the test includes English/language arts at each grade, as well as science at grades 5 and 7. Solid reading, writing and math skill are 'must haves" for a successful future. ISTEP+ is designed to make sure you master these basics on your way to earning a high school diploma, If you don't know enough to pass the test, that's a sign that you need some extra help.

Graduation Qualifing Exam (GQE)

The ISTEP+ GQE Retest is used to evaluate student performance relative to the standards associated with high school graduation. GQE Retest candidates include students in Grades 11 and 12 (and adults) who have previously participated in a GQE assessment. Candidates also include students in Grades 10, 11, and 12 who have transferred after the administration of the Fall 2007 GQE from out-of-state schools, home schools, or nonpublic schools that did not administer the GQE."

 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) testing window is January 24 to March 4, 2011.
