SCHOOLPICTURES –School pictures will be taken on September 15^th.

STUDENTS – If you haveasthma/inhaler or bee/wasp allergy you MUST have medications here at school inorder to go on any outside activities. Please bring to nurse as soon as possible.

HOMEWORK HELP -  is available Mon thru Thur. in Room 142 from3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

*Students MUST have homework to beadmitted* Transportation is NOT provided 

It's time for us to begin BREAKFAST CLUB at First Christian Church.  Breakfast Club is at 6:43 AM each Wednesdaymorning at First Christian Church. All JCMS students are invited!  Cost is$2 per person (donation) for an incredible hot breakfast.  Van rides areprovided to JCMS around 7:30 AM.

Yearbooks are in limited supply for a short time only! If you missed outon purchasing a 2010 yearbook, you still have a chance at getting one, but notfor long. Stop by room 33 to purchase your yearbook for $30. If you ordered ayearbook and have not picked yours up, please see Ms. Shoultz in room 33 beforeor after school to get your copy. Thank you all for supporting our school'syearbook!

ATHLETICS

Any 8^th grade boy interested in playingbasketball this year needs to see Mr. Earl in Room 27 as soon as possible.

8th grade football athletes may leave 1stround; all other athletes must wait until 2nd round.

Boys and girls cross country will practice rightafter school.  Runners need to meet inthe concession stand area after 2^nd round bell.

All Fall Athletes are selling Cookie Dough.  (football, volleyball, cross country, danceteam or cheerleading). 

If for any reason you did not get a cookie doughfundraiser envelope, please stop by the Athletic Office to pick one up.  Remember…..for every 12 items that you sell,you get to pick out a cash envelope.

There will be a Jennings County Youth TennisLeague for boys and girls in grades 5-8 to be held on Mondays (Sept. 13, 20,27, Oct. 4, 11, and 18) at the JCHS tennis courts.  Lisa Hearne, JCHSGirl's Tennis Coach will be giving instruction and organizing leagueplay.  Cost is $20 per student (t-shirt included).  Schedule is 5-6 grades from 6:00-7:00pm and 7-8 grades from 7:00-8:00pm.  Sign-upforms are in the Athletic Office.

Blue Football Team plays Columbus Central at HomeThursday, September 9^th.  Gamestarts at 5:30pm.  Cost is $2.00 forstudents.

White Football Team plays at Sunman on Thursday,September 9^th. Game starts at 5:30pm.

ALL FOOTBALL PLAYERS – We have discount HighSchool Football Game tickets available in the Athletic Office.  A Season Ticket for the Varsity games is only$6.00.  Stop by the Athletic Office topurchase yours today!!!

Jennings County Swim Clubis holding sign-ups at Jennings County Middle School Pool…

  Tuesday,September 14^th 5:30 –7:30pm

  Thursday,September 16^th 5:30 – 7:30pm

  Saturday,September 18^th   10:00am –12:00pm

All swimmers must show copy of birth certificatefor USAswim card.  First time club membersplease bring swimsuit, goggles, etc. Coaches evaluate ability for group placement.  Ages 4 and up are welcome to join theteam.  Any questions see our website atjcswim.org and and email any board member or call Amanda Waldo at 346-7213.

The USA Swim Team will resume practice as normalthis week Monday – Thursday 5:30 to 7:30pm and Friday 3:30 to 5:30.
